General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in North Kingstown, RI. The role focuses on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and maintaining complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems across our submarine facilities.

The candidate should have a HS Diploma or GED with 2+ years of maintenance experience, strong PLC and electrical skills, and the ability to work all shifts in a fast-paced setting. Overtime and training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED OR 2+ years of related technical experience.
• 2+ years of facilities/machine maintenance experience.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or stay into a later shift when needed.
• Must be available to work all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Report to maintenance operations supervisor and collaborate with production and vendors.
• Address day-to-day issues with PLCs and electrical troubleshooting.
• Develop and evaluate new technologies or methods (mechanics, hydraulics, software, etc.).
