Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a maintenance technician to install, configure and troubleshoot automation gear in a 2nd/3rd shift role. You will work on photo eyes, proximity switches, limits, PLC I/O, and control wiring, with expertise in analog/digital controls at 480V 3-phase power.

The job covers programming PLC/HMI, logic changes, and preventive maintenance on conveyors and equipment. Ideal candidates have PLC experience, servo systems and electrical schematics proficiency, plus familiarity

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Demonstrated experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and servo systems.
Experience with troubleshooting packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform installation, configuration and troubleshooting of photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC input/output modules, and control wiring.
Provide troubleshooting expertise of analog and digital controls with 480V, 3 phase power distribution, motors, VFDs, servo drives, and soft starts.
Maintain and troubleshoot encoders and load cells.
Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces; modify ladder logic as needed.
Troubleshoot and diagnose Profibus, serial and industrial Ethernet communications.
Diagnose and perform preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles, conveyors, and production equipment.
