QPS Employment Group is seeking a plastics operator for the 3rd shift in Wisconsin. The role involves molding, inspection, and various support tasks to ensure high-quality products. Safety and efficiency are emphasized in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The position offers hands-on skill development in molding and inspection processes with opportunities to learn multiple operations. Training and teamwork are key components of the role.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing, rework, and inspection operations to produce acceptable products.
• Stay at workstation unless relieved or reassigned.
• Monitor molds and prevent parts from being closed or sprue buildup.
• Load inserts, trim flash and snip gates as required.
• Print, assemble, sort, drill, or gauge parts as needed.
• Maintain standard cycles and monitor for leaks.
• Report safety or equipment issues promptly to supervision.
• Follow instructions and note changes in machinery sounds.
• Communicate with relieving operator and pass on information.
• Perform inspector functions and any packaging/labeling tasks as instructed.
• Review posted part quality and safety information at work station.
• Prepare for post-molding operations (assemble, glue, polish).
• Keep workstation clean and assist in training new operators.
