NOVARES in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Plastic Injection Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 11pm–7am) to keep injection molding machines, robots, and related equipment running smoothly. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, set up molds, and monitor processes to meet quality standards.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; technical certificate or degree is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical certificate or degree is preferred.
• Experience in industrial maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Plastic injection molding experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Preventive maintenance on injection molding machines, dryers, grinders, and robots.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Install, remove, and adjust equipment and set machine parameters per production needs.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and troubleshoot defects.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance actions and downtime.
• Follow safety protocols (lockout/tagout) and OSHA regulations.
