Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Temp-to-Hire Warehouse Associate to support order fulfillment during the night shift. The role pays $17.00 per hour plus a $2.50 per hour shift differential, with overtime as required and On Demand Pay available.

You will operate GreyOrange or Jennifer systems to pick items, verify titles and quantities, handle exceptions, and follow safety guidelines. Candidates should have warehouse/distribution experience and be able to lift up to 50 lbs;

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience - required.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50lbs during shift.
• Ability to follow all safety guidelines - required.

Responsibilities

• Operate within the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems to pick items.
• Maintain accuracy by verifying book titles, quantities, and item condition.
• Handle exceptions such as damaged, missing, or oversized items per QC procedures.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including safe lifting and handling.

Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00pm-7:00am, with overtime as required including Friday and Saturday

Job Type: Temp-to-hire: eligible for full-time, permanent, job status change following your 90-day probationary performance review
