Job summary

Cipla is seeking a Packaging Operator- MDI for the 3rd shift in Fall River, MA. You will perform packaging functions in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and customer requirements, ensuring safe and efficient execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College certificate or university degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in packaging operations preferred.
• Proficient in English (speaking/reading/writing) to understand work instructions and document results.
• Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements in pharma manufacturing is highly preferred.
• Basic understanding of mechanical machinery and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Understand basics of mechanical machinery and control systems.
• Operate pharmaceutical packaging equipment with minimal rejection and maximum output while maintaining quality.
• Clean machines and areas between batch/product changes.
• Perform operations and preventative maintenance of machines.
• Identify and assist in corrective actions for packaging issues.
• Ensure correct labeling and sign-off at all packing stages.
