SEW-EURODRIVE, INC. is seeking a detail-oriented assembler for the 3rd shift in Wellford, SC. The role involves assembling gear motors and reducers, pulling parts, stocking inventory, testing, packaging and shipping as needed.

Candidates should have mechanical aptitude and be able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment. You will learn SEW-EURODRIVE products, perform repairs/restock, and participate in a comprehensive benefits package starting day one, including

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude to assemble gear drives and motors.
• Ability to learn SEW-EURODRIVE products and technical details.
• Must be able to stand and move continuously and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good oral and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Hand assemble gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives.
• Maintain parts stock between assembly lines.
• Pull parts and restock as needed.
• Perform testing and service, including wash/prep/paint.
• Inspect work and perform rework as required.
• Rotate to different roles within Assembly Shop.
