Job summary

SEW-Eurodrive, Inc. in DeSoto, TX is seeking a hands-on assembler to support the production of gear motors, reducers and adjustable drives. The role includes stocking between lines, parts pulling, testing, warranty work, and routine cleanup, with on-site duties throughout the shift.

You will use gauges and blueprints, read calipers and paint millage gauges, and perform necessary rework to ensure quality. This is a full-time first shift position with comprehensive benefits starting day one.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to read gauges and other measuring equipment
• Basic arithmetic across units of measurement
• Physical ability to bend, lift, push, pull and stand for long periods
• Ability to visually inspect and rework as needed

Responsibilities

• Hand assembly of gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives
• Maintain parts stock between assembly lines and handle inventory
• Repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing and service
• Wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping/receiving and general clean up
• Rotate to various jobs within Assembly Shop and perform other tasks as requested
