Modine Manufacturing Company in Natural Bridge, VA is seeking an Assembler Technician for the 3rd shift to assemble cooling systems from copper and metal components, using brazing and a range of hand and power tools. You will read prints, wiring diagrams and CAD models to assemble units according to specifications.

The position offers an hourly rate with a step increase after nine months and a shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, wiring diagrams, and CAD models to meet production specifications.
• Production experience in a make-to-order assembly role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble units on the production line using prints, work instructions and wiring diagrams.
• Perform brazing for refrigeration and water circuits per print requirements.
• High voltage, 3-phase wiring of electrical systems.
• Measure, cut, fit, and insulate water piping assembly.
• Read blueprints and CAD diagrams to build or modify units.
• Ensure completion of quality and production checklists.
• Operate overhead hoists and powered industrial trucks when required.
