Job summary

Weidmann Group is hiring a Packer – 3rd Shift for our Urbana, OH facility. The role involves preparing, packing, labeling, and staging finished products, while ensuring quality and safety. Onsite, 11pm-7am, with emphasis on accurate data entry and adherence to 5S standards.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, basic math and reading skills, and ability to operate packing equipment including forklifts and SAP. Standing for long shifts and lifting up to 80 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; related packing/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to operate packing equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Basic math, reading, and measured tool use required.
• Able to stand up to 12 hours and lift up to 80 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, stage, pack, label, and secure finished products per shipping and quality requirements.
• Perform visual quality inspections and report non-conforming products.
• Create product identification labels and enter production data in SAP.
• Coordinate material needs and assist with product movement and staging.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following 5S and safety procedures.
