Job summary

Crown Bakeries is seeking a Packaging Associate to perform manual and semi-automated packaging on assigned production lines, ensuring accurate weights, counts and labeling. You will maintain sanitation, follow GMP/HACCP standards, and assist with line changeovers while supporting inventory and training tasks.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and flexibility for evenings or weekends as production needs demand. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years packaging, production or food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSMA, and Food Defense policies preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Package finished bakery products on assigned lines, verifying weights and counts.
• Inspect packaging materials for quality and report defects.
• Maintain sanitation and comply with GMP and HACCP standards.
• Assist with line startup, changeovers and shutdowns.
• Support inventory counts and training of new associates.
