Job summary

Dieffenbach’s Snacks is hiring a 3rd Shift Machine Operator (PMO) in Chambersburg to run our packing lines, ensure correct weights, seal integrity, and proper seasoning distribution. You’ll pre-setup equipment, adjust on the fly, and keep production moving with a proactive, safety-minded approach.

The role requires comfort with lifting and standing, strong teamwork, and the ability to troubleshoot small issues quickly. Pay is $20.75 per hour with a standard shift differential.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or machine operation.
• Comfortable lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Able to solve small problems quickly to keep production moving.
• Team player who can jump in when needed.

Responsibilities

• Run the machines, own the process and ensure accurate weights and seal integrity.
• Pre-production prep: setup machines before shift and fine-tune for runs.
• Change it up: switch rolls of film, adjust formers, and keep production smooth.
• Seasoning control: manage flow to ensure consistent flavor.
• Inspect and hand-pack bags to maintain quality.
• Box, label, and ship per customer specs.
• Maintain a clean, production-ready area with GMP compliance.
