Timken Distribution Center in Duncan, SC is seeking a 3rd Shift Machine Packaging Operator to run packaging equipment for cups, cones, and assemblies up to 6 inches in diameter. Work is Monday-Friday, 11pm-7am, with overtime as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret English safety rules and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Gather necessary supplies and verify quality prior to use.
• Verify product quantity and inspect for correct part numbers or defects.
• Stage product in feeding area and replenish as necessary.
• Set up, change over and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
• Use RF scanners to verify packaging requirements and process orders.
• Remove packaged bearings from exit conveyor and perform final inspection.
• Pack cartons and route to next stage in shipping process.
• Communicate with other areas to resolve problems.
