Grassland Dairy Products is seeking a dependable Packaging Operator for our 3rd shift production team. The role involves operating and maintaining packaging equipment to ensure dairy products are packaged efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Understands products manufactured and processes involved.
• Adapts effectively in a changing, demanding environment.
• Basic understanding of machine operations and troubleshooting.
• Communicates effectively to maintain safety, quality and efficiency.
• Reads and comprehends SOPs and guidelines for regulatory compliance.
• Prioritizes and operates multiple machines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Follow GMP, safety policies, and QA standards.
• Verify quality control items: weights, coding, packaging integrity, labeling.
• Assemble, disassemble, clean, and sanitize printing/packaging equipment.
• Maintain accurate production/quality records.
• Operate print and packaging equipment to meet production demands.
• Assist with general plant cleaning and housekeeping.
• Provide coverage for other positions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
