Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in chemical processing or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in chemical manufacturing or a similar production environment; experience with reaction equipment and processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding role and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable and punctual.

Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Reactions Operator. As a Reactions Operator, you will play a crucial role in our flavor manufacturing process working closely with USDA. You will be responsible for operating and monitoring reaction equipment to ensure the precise execution of chemical reactions and the production of high-quality flavor compounds.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate reaction equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to initiate and control chemical reactions.
  • Monitor reaction parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates, to ensure adherence to specifications and safety protocols.
  • Conduct quality checks on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to maintain product integrity and consistency.
