Job summary

MacLean Power Systems, headquartered in Fort Mill, SC, seeks a 3rd shift supervisor to oversee production operations and ensure safety, quality, and on-time output. The role focuses on leading a team, coordinating workflow, and maintaining strict adherence to 5S practices.

The position requires experience in manufacturing supervision, strong communication, and the ability to train and mentor employees while ensuring compliance with company policies and EH&S standards.

Qualifications

• Requires accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program.
• Roles involve supervising personnel and leading shifts.
• Experience in production, safety and quality processes is expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise workers operating production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control or package goods for shipment.
• Notify maintenance or engineering departments when equipment requires maintenance or repair.
• Monitor output of assigned area(s) against established schedules or quality goals.
• Coordinate the flow of work through the department and ensure that department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately.
• Provide training and guidance to new employees.
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
