Job summary

Volvo Cars is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician (3rd shift) to execute advanced maintenance on automated equipment. You will diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues, analyze failures, and implement improvements to reduce downtime.

You will perform planned maintenance, work with predictive tasks, and support operators with training. The role requires safe operation in a high-volume plant and availability for weekends or overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience in a highly automated manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with CMMS software (e.g., SAP or Maximo) and reading manufacturing specs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Perform planned maintenance tasks including predictive and preventive work.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and improve automated equipment to reduce downtime.
