Job summary
Aerotek is seeking a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician for a climate-controlled manufacturing environment in Chattanooga, TN. The role focuses on electrical and mechanical maintenance, robotics support, and PLC troubleshooting to ensure safe, reliable operation of production equipment.
Ideal candidates will have experience with Fanuc/ABB robotics, Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs, and can read electrical and mechanical schematics.
Qualifications
- Experience in electrical maintenance with schematics.
- Mechanical maintenance with hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Experience with PLC systems (Allen-Bradley/Siemens).
- Experience servicing robots (Fanuc/ABB).
- Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams.
- Willingness to work weekends and extended hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform TPM on plant equipment to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Work with Fanuc and ABB robots to maintain operation.
- Troubleshoot PLC-based systems using schematics.
- Interpret electrical/mechanical schematics and manuals.
- Adjust and repair molding equipment.
- Respond to breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Shift work including nights/weekends as needed.
