Speedrack is looking for a hands-on manufacturing professional to manage daily operations, setup, and changeovers at our Walker, Michigan facility. You will support continuous improvement and ensure production runs align with schedules, while adhering to quality standards and safety policies.

The role requires basic reading/writing, ability to read a tape measure, and a willingness to work overtime as needed. Team collaboration and a proactive approach are essential at Speedrack.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write simple information accurately.
• Capable of reading a tape measure with accuracy.
• Ability to pass a written exam and physical test for an Industrial Truck Permit.
• Adapt to changing job functions and duties as needed.
• Work well with co-workers from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives at the facility.
• Review and verify daily run schedules.
• Match run schedule with dies and inspect weld quality.
• Record and file paperwork; perform 1st piece inspections.
• Enter production data into the computer system and log quality concerns.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe, orderly work area.
• Adhere to safety and environmental policies; participate in safety training.
