Job summary

Generac Power Systems, Inc. is seeking Welders for the 3rd shift (Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM) with Friday overtime possible based on business needs.

Starting wages include Welder I at $21.25/hr plus 11% shift premium and Welder II at $25.50/hr plus 11% shift premium; quarterly bonus up to 6% based on site performance. Welders will perform MIG, aluminum, TIG welding and operate robotic welding equipment in fabrication and assembly of parts for high-quality products.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or certification is required.
• Must pass internal weld tests for Welder I/II/III.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, aluminum and TIG welding as directed.
• Follow safety rules and operate welding equipment safely.
• Interpret drawings and set up/assist robotic welder on suitable parts.
• Support across products and areas as needed.
