Job summary

Alabama Clinical Schools is seeking a Mental Health Associate for the 3rd shift to provide direct care to residents with psychiatric disorders and to ensure safety and well-being. The role uses a therapeutic approach to activities, groups, and daily tasks under supervision.

The position runs Monday–Friday 11pm–7:30am with rotating weekends (9pm–9:30am). Weekend work includes two days off the following week and a $3,000 sign-on bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in psychology, social work, education, criminal justice, or related mental health field preferred, but not required.
• Detailed and organized with strong documentation skills.
• Able to safely monitor residents and perform physical management techniques and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents with psychiatric disorders to ensure safety and well-being.
• Utilize a therapeutic approach in daily activities and group facilitation.
• Assist with daily living tasks and respond to duties assigned by supervisors.
