Advocate Health Cleveland - Lab is seeking a qualified medical laboratory professional for a 3rd shift role. The schedule is 7 nights on and 7 nights off, with 40 hours per week in a full-time position.

The role emphasizes testing procedures, reagent preparation, inventory control and adherence to QA guidelines. Applicants should meet CLIA education requirements and seek MLT certification within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate degree or equivalent education and training as defined by CLIA.
• MLT registry eligible or equivalent required; certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares reagents and maintains supplies for test procedures.
• Ensures testing procedures follow QA guidelines and documents results.
• Maintains inventory to reduce waste and manage departmental costs.
• Exercises clinical judgment to prioritize and troubleshoot test systems.
• Adheres to accreditation requirements (CAP, TJC, OSHA) and updates procedures.
