Job summary

Apogee Enterprises, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Material Handler for the 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 10:00pm–6:30am). The role focuses on tracking, storing, and issuing materials to production lines while supporting work instructions and safety initiatives.

You will ensure accurate inventory, move and stage items, assist in shipments, and use MRP/ERP systems to report on materials and location. Teamwork and continuous improvement are emphasized.

Qualifications

• One year of forklift experience is required.
• Tru Vue Forklift Operation License in good standing.
• Familiarity with electronic inventory management systems (MRP/ERP) is expected.
• Able to perform electronic transactions accurately.
• Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively supports lines with materials for production and packaging.
• Ensures proper inventory of production materials and finished goods to support scheduled orders.
• Monitors receiving/shipping areas and warehouses items.
• Assists in shipments and receipts as needed.
• Monitors and assists in packaging materials for shipment.
• Maintains FIFO and supports routine cycle counts.
