Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a 3rd shift Material Handler / Hilo in Allegan, MI. The role involves receiving, organizing, picking, and loading shipments, and operating forklifts and dock trucks in a fast-paced warehouse.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license or forklift experience, and be able to work 40 hours with overtime. Safety and teamwork are essential in this position.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma (or GED) and good attendance/work history.
• Must have valid driver’s license or at least 1 year of motorized forklift/Hilo driving experience.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week with overtime when necessary and train on other shifts.
• Basic computer skills; navigating training systems; basic math and reading/comprehension.
• Ability to follow Perrigo SOPs and safety guidelines.
• Must be able to stand for 85% of shift and coordinate vision/hearing with safety.
• Vision/coordination requirements to operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize incoming product.
• Pick and prepare customer orders.
• Load trucks for outbound shipments.
• Operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and dock trucks.
• Perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and moving materials.
