Job summary

AAM - American Axle & Manufacturing is seeking a Material Handler for the 3rd shift in Bowling Green, KY. You will support material flow, staging, and line feeding to keep production running smoothly and safely.

Your responsibilities include FIFO unpacking, preparing materials for each production line, stocking lines with the right parts, assisting with cycle counts and inventory control, and maintaining lot traceability. You must be able to lift 35 lbs and work well within a safety‑driven team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Two to five years’ experience in warehouse operations and forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Unpacks material from pallets and ensures FIFO process is followed.
• Decants and/ or prepare material as required for each production line.
• Stocks the production lines using equipment such as a tugger or walk behind; deliver correct parts on time.
• Removes trash from materials area and loads for compactors.
• Assists with inventory control functions including cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Maintains lot traceability as required.
• Supports training as required.
• Any other tasks as assigned.
