Job description

Title:

3rd shift Material Handler/Forklift Experience Required

Job Purpose:

Please note you will initially work 2nd shift, from 2pm to 10pm, for training.

Responsibilities:

1. Use forklift
2. Perform cleaning/sanitation, product packaging, labeling, warehousing, and other duties as assigned
3. Complete daily cleaning schedules, facilities evaluations, weekly cleaning, and related paperwork
4. Follow all GMP, food safety, safety policies, and procedures
5. Perform product packaging operations in accordance with SOP
6. Operate forklift and complete paperwork for tote production, organic sugar production, and occasional deliveries and shipments
7. Work overtime as needed
8. Assist maintenance personnel as needed
9. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Forklift experience required, including passing a forklift written test
• PC skills required
• Effective communication skills with peers and leadership
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Physical ability to walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear
• Ability to work in hot, cool, wet, dusty, and loud conditions; PPE may be required
