Job summary

Stryker Group in Cary, IL seeks an Operator II to operate and support manufacturing equipment, maintain production documentation, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. The role is Sunday to Thursday, 11:00 pm–7:00 am, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include monitoring machine performance, logging activities in FlexNet, inspecting products for defects, and maintaining efficient workflow in a clean, safe environment.

Qualifications

• Reads and follows written and verbal work instructions.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic and semi-automatic manufacturing equipment to support daily production activities.
• Monitor machine performance and make minor adjustments; clear jams and correct basic issues.
• Log production and non-production activities in the FlexNet system; manage production lots as required.
• Inspect products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerances.
• Perform in-process quality checks and document results.
• Complete production records, logbooks, and documentation per Good Documentation Practices.
• Move materials for production operations while maintaining inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
