Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking a Shift Manager for the 3rd shift in the Corrugator Department to oversee daily production, drive safety, and ensure cost-effective operations while meeting customer and company quality standards.

The role requires leadership experience in manufacturing, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication to coordinate with planning, technicians, and management. Associates degree and MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree (or equivalent) in business, management or supervision.
• 1-3 years of demonstrated leadership in manufacturing.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience.
• Familiarity with KIWI or SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily production operations on the 3rd shift in the Corrugator Department.
• Ensure safety rules and policies are followed by plant technicians.
• Coach employees to meet quality and operating standards.
• Act as point of communication between employees and management.
• Coordinate with production planning to prioritize jobs and staffing.
• Manage material movement and monitor flow and inventory in their area.
• Support and communicate training efforts for employees.
• Maintain housekeeping and plant cleanliness.
• Other duties as assigned by Department/Production Manager.
