Job summary

Harley-Davidson Motor Company’s York Vehicle Operations facility seeks a Manufacturing Engineer/Shift Supervisor for a 3rd shift. The role combines manufacturing engineering with shift supervision, supporting welding, fabrication and finishing processes while maintaining safety and quality.

You will work with product engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize processes, reduce costs, and meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Strong Supervisor/Leadership experience
• Demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing techniques.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, quality controls, tooling, fixturing, and gaging.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction, guidance and training in new processes and problem resolution.
• Collaborate with product engineering to design for manufacturability.
• Oversee hourly and union employees on shift and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Implement productivity improvements to reduce cycle time and costs.
