Job summary

Lennox is hiring a Custodian for a 3rd shift position in Tallassee, Alabama. The role focuses on keeping the manufacturing area and rest areas clean, stocked, and orderly. Shift is Monday-Thursday 7pm-5:30am, with starting pay of $18.00/hour plus a $2.00 shift differential.

Overtime eligibility applies, and a benefits package is offered. Qualified candidates will have custodial experience, strong safety awareness, and a HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• No active written or final discipline on file.
• Good standing in attendance.
• Previous custodial experience.
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Clean building floors by sweeping and mopping (floor scrubber).
• Maintain floor scrubber equipment (draining/emptying tanks).
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment for safety.
• Maintain cleanliness of breakroom (microwave etc.).
• Requisition supplies or equipment for cleaning duties.
• Organize, put away, and deliver supplies from pallets.
• Keep trash compactor area clean of debris.
• Operate leaf blower as needed.
• Assist in other production areas as necessary.
