Job summary

Autokiniton is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift, based at 620 South Platt Road in Milan, Michigan. The role covers troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on automated equipment, with a Monday–Friday 10:00 pm–6:00 am schedule and a $0.75 shift premium.

We value robotic experience (Motoman/Fanuc), electrical wiring knowledge, and blueprint reading. Automotive manufacturing background and journeyman license are preferred indicators of readiness for this role.

Qualifications

• 3 years Robotic experience such as Motoman and/or Fanuc.
• Electrical machine wiring preferred.
• Blueprint & electrical reading experience required.
• Hydraulics and pneumatics experience required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs machinery & equipment.
• Read and troubleshoot using electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers, wiring and electrical/electronic components.
• Dismantle defective equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Set-up and operate machine tools such as lathe, mill, grinder, and drill to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs fixtures, and tools.
• Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Fabricate and repair table, benches, racks, and other metal structures.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machine parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machines & equipment.
