Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville Horicon is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (10pm - 6am, Sun-Thu) in Horicon, Wisconsin. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, support robotics and PLC-controlled equipment, and help optimize maintenance processes to minimize downtime.

You will report to the Maintenance Manager and work with the Maintenance Supervisor to assign and track work orders, maintain inventories, and ensure safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to analyze a wide variety of equipment and troubleshoot problems.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical and controls aspects of robotic equipment.
• Proficient in reading electrical diagrams and PLC troubleshooting/ programming.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems to support production and related equipment.
• Manage calibrations, configurations and hardware to resolve maintenance issues and improve reliability.
• Enforce maintenance safety requirements and coordinate with vendors and outside contractors as needed.
