Job summary

Corvac Composites, LLC is seeking a skilled Machine Repair Technician to maintain and repair a range of plant equipment, including hydraulic trim presses, vacuum formers, robotics, extrusion lines, and air systems. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of experience in machine repair or journeyman status.
• Experience with hydraulic trim presses, vacuum formers, robotic trim, extrusion equipment, air compressors, chillers and assembly equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings/blueprints, schematics, service manuals and manufacturer specifications to install, modify, enhance and repair machines and equipment.
• Use PC/PLC knowledge and electrical schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Read hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical schematics; perform MIG/TIG/oxy-acetylene welding for installation and repair.
• Start/restart machines after installations and repairs to ensure optimum operation.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns across production lines (presses, formers, robotic trim, extrusion equipment, air systems, chillers, assembly lines).
• Train, mentor and assess other technicians; contribute to teamwork and knowledge transfer.
