Job summary

Rise Baking Company, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the 3rd shift in York, PA to install, maintain and repair industrial machinery and electrical systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and document repairs while upholding GMP and safety guidelines. The role requires PLC knowledge, mechanical skills, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance experience with electrical skills and PLC knowledge.
• Mechanical, pneumatic, welding, hydraulic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Experience with 480VAC DC/3-Phase power systems preferred.
• Must be able to stoop and bend while lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair industrial machinery, equipment and electrical systems while following GMP and safety practices.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production machines; troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Record tasks and repairs in maintenance database and communicate needs across teams.
• Respond quickly to issues, locate sources of problems using instruments and diagrams.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and comply with OSHA and SQF standards.
