Qualifications

2-year degree in electronics/maintenance mechanics or 5+ years in maintenance mechanic role
Experience with repair or preventive maintenance in hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, or electronics
PLC experience and CMMS knowledge
Lockout/tagout procedures familiarity
Advanced welding skills to sanitary standards

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with plant equipment (e.g., drive systems, HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics)
Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems with plant equipment (e.g., wiring, circuits, transformers, motors)
Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment
Maintain and repair building systems (air conditioning, lighting, forklifts)
Fabricate replacement parts or equipment as needed
Electronically troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment
Report food safety and quality issues to appropriate personnel
Comply with food safety requirements and company policies
Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks
