Rittal LLC is hiring for a Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift in Urbana, Ohio. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing plant machinery, conveyors, and power systems, with responsibilities across preventive maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement.

Primary Activities / Duties

Safety Requirements

• Wear safety-toed footwear.
• Safety glasses with side shields.
• Hearing protection.
• Additional personal protective equipment as required.
• Follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently throughout the shift.
• Occasionally lift up to 80 pounds to waist level.
• Frequently lift 25–50 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above shoulder level.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at elevations up to 90 feet.

Work Environment

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, and high noise levels.
• May be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Regular use of cleaning solvents, oils, lubricants, and other substances.
• Must be available to work any shift.

Education & Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
