Job summary

Zoetis, Inc. in Lincoln, NE is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on a wide range of packaging equipment and utilities.

Strong mechanical, electrical, and controls skills are required to keep production running and ensure quality standards are met. This 3rd shift role (Sunday-Thursday, 11:00pm-7:30am) offers on-site growth opportunities, health benefits, and safety training.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in the electro/mechanical field.
• Associates degree from an accredited technical/trade school in the electro/mechanical field with 2 years industrial experience.
• Able to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Able to interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Valid driver\'s license may be required.
• Computer literacy in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Access, and the CMMS.
• Willingness to work 3rd shift, overtime, weekends, and on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment as assigned by Zoetis to meet the production schedule while maintaining the validated state.
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule and established task instructions.
• Identify and procure parts to perform repairs while maintaining the validated state of the equipment or system.
• Document repairs and preventive maintenance work in CMMS and logbooks where applicable.
• Follow Site SOPs and cGMPs relative to the position and work within compliance of those standards.
