Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a large facility in Schaumburg, IL. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems to keep buildings running efficiently.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical experience, strong organizational skills, and can work 40–45 hours per week. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and US work authorization without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years of related experience; combination of experience and education considered.
• Able to meet physical requirements including heavy loads up to 50 lbs and stairs/ladders.
• Follow basic work routines and standards.
• Effective communication to exchange straightforward information.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on building systems (mechanical/electrical).
• Support energy efficiency and safety compliance.
• Assist with equipment installations and modifications.
