Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift to keep bakery equipment running safely and efficiently.

You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical drive and conveyor components, and work with SAP for parts checkout and data entry. The role requires climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds, and willingness to train on evolving technologies.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a technician.
• Experience in HVAC, welding, electrical, or related industrial fields.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool usage and general shop practices.
• Perform lubrication and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Identify wear, troubleshoot and replace drive and conveyor components.
• Use SAP for parts checkout, reporting and data entry.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow company policies including safety and SOX compliance.
• Adhere to attendance, schedules and operating rules.
• Possess or obtain licenses for boilers, refrigeration components as needed.
• Assist with other duties deemed integral by management.
