Job summary

Ditsch USA in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our SQF-certified food manufacturing facility. You will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment, supporting 24/5 operation and reporting to the Maintenance Shift Supervisor.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in manufacturing, strong electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and industrial skills; PLC and VFD experience, and a safe, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing experience; food processing equipment experience desirable.
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify solutions and approaches to problems.
• Strong pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and industrial skills; PLCs and VFDs experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes on the line.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment; verify repairs for quality.
• Utilize electronic devices and CMMS for work orders, logs and reporting.
• Maintain plant and equipment including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Keep a clean, organized work area.
• Document issues in CMMS and create Work Orders.
• Follow safety, GMP policies, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain records of PMs, WO, log entries, and status changes.
• Collaborate across departments and communicate effectively within the shift.
