Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a manufacturing work center environment. The technician will service and maintain all machines in connector manufacturing and hand fill departments, performing preventative and reactive maintenance and troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

This is a hands-on role emphasizing safety, quality and cost control. The position requires independent problem-solving in a fast-paced setting, with 3rd shift hours and OT

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a technician or maintenance role.
• Experience with automated machine repair and either machining or electrical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of general die mechanics and bench work.
• Troubleshooting of automated machines, mechanical & hydraulic ram presses.
• Electrical troubleshooting (proximity sensors, servo motors, production cameras, PLCs).
• Pneumatics (air cylinders, electric/air solenoid switchs, flow control valves).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Serve as primary contact for equipment manufacturers and service providers.
• Maintain safety, quality, and cost controls in a fast-paced environment.

Top Requirements

All work is to be completed with the highest levels of safety, quality, service, and cost as possible.They will perform and coordinate both preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, and serve as the primary point of contact for equipment manufacturers and service providers. This is a highly hands-on role requiring strong independence, problem-solving, and ownership within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
