Schwan’s Company in Westfield, NY is hiring a Maintenance Technician II for the 3rd shift. The role involves advanced preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and production machinery, plus complex repairs and welding as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (two-year degree preferred) and 3+ years of related experience, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work varied hours. SAP will be used to document activities and coordinate with teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; two-year degree in maintenance trade preferred.
• 3+ years related experience in maintenance.
• Shift flexibility including full-time, overtime, or weekend shifts.
• Basic to advanced mechanical, electrical, and building skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyor systems and food production machinery.
• Perform complex mechanical repairs and welding as needed.
• Assist with equipment setup, teardown, and installation of new plant machinery.
• Diagnose issues using observation and precision instruments; identify root causes.
• Use SAP to document maintenance activities and track work orders.
