Job summary

Rise Baking Company, LLC Lancaster, NY is seeking a Millwright/Electrical Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6:30am). The role focuses on maintaining plant equipment and building systems, ensuring food safety and OSHA compliance.

The position requires a 2-year degree in electronics/maintenance mechanics or 3+ years in maintenance, with experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, or electronics. CMMS and lockout/tagout proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or 3+ years in maintenance mechanic role.
• Experience with repair or preventive maintenance in hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, or electronics.
• Working knowledge of CMMS and lockout/tagout programs.
• Ability to stick or TIG weld small repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems with plant equipment (e.g., mechanical drive systems, HVAC, hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical problems with plant equipment (e.g., wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, electrical installations, transformers, motors, and AC/DC motor drives).
• Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Perform building maintenance and repairs (e.g., air conditioning, lights, forklifts).
