Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking a Maintenance Tech C for the 3rd shift to support safe, reliable operation of production equipment. You will perform hands-on maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and assist senior technicians to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment repairs, and documenting issues for root-cause analysis. Growth opportunities exist within a team-focused, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

Foundational experience in industrial maintenance and basic mechanical knowledge.
Ability to read basic mechanical drawings or schematics.
Interest in learning reliability and maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Maintain mechanical systems such as bearings, belts, chains, pulleys, shafts, motors, and gearboxes.
Support conveyance systems, pumps, valves, and utility systems (steam, air, water).
Diagnose problems, perform repairs, and restore equipment functionality.
Document issues, root causes, and corrective actions to maintenance and operations teams.
Complete work orders and assist with installations and improvements.
