Long Prairie Packing LLC, an American Foods Group Company, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Long Prairie, MN plant. You will oversee hourly maintenance staff, coordinate with operations, and manage the 3rd shift maintenance group.

Responsibilities include planning with the work order system, assisting with weekend projects, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring QA and USDA compliance. We offer a base salary of $80,000–$95,000 plus benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of maintenance experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Experience supervising, planning, and scheduling hourly maintenance staff.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, steam and hot water systems.
• Proficient with CMMS and maintenance planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly maintenance employees to ensure preventative and failure maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with plant operations to support daily production goals.
• Lead the 3rd shift maintenance department with the plant maintenance engineer and shift lead.
• Use the work order system to plan maintenance during production and non-production times.
• Assist maintenance manager with weekend projects with outside contractors.
• Assist with troubleshooting of issues on plant equipment.
• Ensure equipment meets QA and USDA guidelines for food safety.
