Job summary

AKG North America in Mebane, NC is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift. You will respond to maintenance requests across plant and office spaces, troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry issues, and perform preventative maintenance.

This role requires reading blueprints, using measuring and hand tools, and collaborating with the team to keep operations safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal trade school program in equipment maintenance.
• Apprenticeship or on-the-job training is acceptable.
• Ability to read/install from blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and repair plant and office equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document work orders.
