Job summary

AKG North America – Mebane, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift. You’ll perform hands-on repairs across plant and office areas, troubleshoot electrical circuits, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and equipment installations, and perform preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• Formal trade school program in equipment maintenance or apprenticeship.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in general repairs (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and air conditioning).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency with measuring tools and hand/power tools.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs across plant and office areas.
• Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase, single-phase, and DC electrical circuits.
• Perform preventative maintenance and track work orders.
