Job summary

Ventek Solutions is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for third shift in Shelbyville, KY. You will report to the Plant Engineer and perform hands-on tasks to ensure high-quality, timely shipment of Ventek products.

A proven track record in a fast-paced environment and the ability to work with multiple teams are essential. You will install and maintain production equipment, repair utilities, and assist with PMs and rebuilds while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced industrial setting.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment.
• Proficient reading of technical instructions in English.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support Ventek’s production by maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment.
• Install and maintain auxiliary equipment as required by production.
• Repair utility and facility-related equipment under supervision of Plant Engineer.
• Train and assist other maintenance personnel on repairs and PMs.
• Collaborate with other departments for proactive problem resolution.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Manage small projects to upgrade equipment.
