Job summary

Family Dollar’s busy fully automated retail distribution center in Maquoketa, Iowa is seeking an experienced Maintenance Department Manager for the 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, 11pm–7am). You will oversee an assigned shift’s maintenance operations and lead a team of technicians to keep the DC in top working order.

You’ll plan, direct, and coordinate maintenance activities, promote safety, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Electrical/electronic background with conveyors and industrial equipment.
• Experience with MP2/PLC preferred and RF systems desired.
• Supervisory or management experience in maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance for a shift within a fully automated DC.
• Direct and coordinate activities of up to 10 technicians.
• Lead safety programs and staff development initiatives.
• Respond to equipment failures and plan preventive maintenance.
