Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician for the 3rd shift to monitor and repair plant equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance and assist with new equipment installations across the facility.

The role requires stamina, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work on ladders and in varying climates. Applicants should have at least 3 months of maintenance experience or be enrolled in a maintenance/mechanical program.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 months of maintenance experience, enrollment in a maintenance / mechanical program can be considered in lieu of experience.
• Must be able to understand and follow Safety Rules (Lockout/Tagout) and OSHA standards.
• 3rd shift availability; ability to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor equipment during production and perform repairs or adjustments as needed.
• Document corrections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Rebuild equipment and assist with installation of new machinery.
